A space for delivery riders in the CBD

What: A dedicated refuge with free food and information for delivery and rideshare workers.

Where: Micro-Labs, 227-229 Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000

When:
Thursday     2-8pm
Friday          5-8pm
Saturday     5-8pm
Sunday       2-8pm

Delivery and rideshare platforms have reshaped life in the city, but until recently there have been no spaces designed to meet the needs of gig workers themselves. The Hub offers a space in which riders and drivers can come together, meet one another, and feel supported.

By providing free access to food and drinks, relevant information, phone chargers, and other amenities, the Hub is intended to gather support - and demonstrate a need - for a permanent gig worker space in Melbourne’s CBD.
